Collective Practice by FORMA is a seasonal, guided journey into higher creativity, personal power, and connection to self.
We embark on 40 day cycles committing to our personal morning practice alongside friends and friends-of-friends.
This is not a fancy self-help course, and we are not building an app. We are an organic, global, and intergenerational community of students and teachers alike.
This cohort exists to share the wisdom and practices that have transformed our lives, while utilizing the power of community to hold us accountable in habit formation. Building habits is hard, but it’s easier to do with friends.
If you are in truth attempting to make this a better world to live in, the most leverage you have is not on other people, it’s on yourself. Make yourself a statement of love and truth. That’s what will change the nature of the predicament that we find ourselves in now.

What do I do for my morning practice?
Each cycle of Collective Practice features five practices led by expert guides.
These practices originate from different lineages around the world which we hold in great respect; and the group is secular, nondenominational, and open to all.
This season’s practices:

+ Dream Journaling
+ Death Meditation
+ Indigenous Practice
When we repeatedly do certain actions, they become habits. These habits shape our character and how we behave. By taking time to reflect on ourselves daily, we change our brains by creating new connections between neurons. This process is called neuroplasticity.
Through a simple daily habit, you will see a boundless ripple effect.
How?
You may notice that you begin to naturally gravitate toward healthier food and relationships. Things that used to be frustrating no longer are. You have more energy to take on the day. The next level of your creative energy can be recognized and engaged, and those things that have been sitting on the back burner for months (or years) will suddenly seem less daunting to tackle. The side effects go on and on, and with longer consistent practice, the more profound the effects.

FORMA is a community focused on transformational education. We produce online and offline experiences at the intersection of mindfulness, service, creativity, and human connection.
