FORMA x This is Water invite you to
A community sailing immersion
January 11-17, 2025

Join us in January for a 7 day sailing adventure.
22 people on 2 boats for 1 incredible journey.
As a new year opens before us, the FORMA x This is Water communities will set sail on the Sea of Cortez.
We will come together to set the table for the year ahead, and restore our connection to water through incredible multi-sensory experiences on the high seas.
Reclaiming the wildness inside, through the wilderness outside.
Create your foundation for 2025
We incorporate the following modalities into this social sailing experience.
NATURE-BASED FACILITATION
Together we will reconnect to the living world around us and learn how to lighten our footprint, so we can be better stewards of our land and seas.
GROUP WORKSHOPS
Learn more about the art of sailing, your relationship to water, and workshops to expand your relational, creative, and daily morning practice. Together we will build and ignite our vision for 2025.
CREATIVE RESET
Allowing our true creative potential to come alive on the water through encouraging a technology and substance free journey to reset the mind and nervous system.
MOVEMENT
Dance, daily morning practice, water sports (paddle boarding, diving, snorkeling), and more.
COLLECTIVE PARTICIPATION
This is not a run-of-the-mill luxury or tourist sail. We will all share and support - from leading a workshop to helping prep food. This trip will be informed by the unique signature we each bring.

Why the Sea of Cortez?
Jacques Cousteau famously dubbed the Sea of Cortez "the world's aquarium" because of its rich biodiversity. It's home to over 900 species of fish, many of which are found nowhere else in the world.
It also serves as a breeding ground for whales, including humpback whales, gray whales, and the rare blue whale. January is prime whale watching season!
With crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life, this is an unparalleled place to take a break from the grind of daily life and reconnect with the profound beauty of our earth and our connection to the cycles of nature.
